Send me one of your favorite stocks

Posted by Satuki On February - 13 - 2009

Send me your favorite stocks. If you already have my email, send it directly to me. If not please use the contact form here. I will then select one of them and do the following

  • My Technical Analysis for swing trading them
  • How I would take on them assuming that I not have a position in it
  • Post these 3 on my blog so others can benefit too

Your picks must meet the following criteria

  1. Above 10 dollars
  2. Traded on NYSE, NASDAQ and AMX only
  3. Last volume traded is above 500k
  4. No leveraged ETFs.

So far, I can only provide this for short swing trades(3-7 days). In the future, I will probably provide my takes on long swing trades(10-30 days)if I have enough energy.

As for day trading, there is no way I can do it. Most stocks I trade move just too fast for me to provide anything meaningful to you. Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi Trader mom,

First I want to congratulate you on your success, this is an awesome record, stellar performance. Second, a great website to share the knowledge and enhance shared learning. I came across your site a few days ago while searching, and I keep visiting often to help me focus on things that are of prime importance.

This is a great idea to analyse the stocks and provide your opinion.

My three symbols are RIMM, ENER, RIO.

Thanks again for sharing great info.

  • @jrelearner, please choose a real stock that meets all the 4 criteria listed in my post. I do not want people to get into 3X ETFs, which are too risky. As for my stop losses and targets, I do not list them explicitly. Here is the guideline. look at point 5. http://www.momdaytrader.com/blog/2009/01/21/how... . It should be very easy for people to set theirs since I have narrowed them to very small ranges.
  • TraderMom:

Can you do an analysis of your ERX trade - what you saw on the chart to select the stock, where you entered, your stop-loss placement in the stock and how you determine your target before you entered the trade to determine the RRR?

    Thanks,
