This is the first month since I started to implement my swing trading system which I tested, tested and tested for 6 months (literally 14 hours a day). Yep, that is how much work I put into the system.
Of course, it is still too early to say if it is a good system since I could have been on a lucky run. This winning streak might end anytime soon. I am not trying to jinx myself. I am just being realistic here. I have a small Portfolio . This kind of monthly return just surprised me a little bit.
I closed all my trades to see how much I could make in this month. I know, I know FSLR, MOS, NOV did not hit their targets. I did not try to break my rules intentionally. I just can not resist the temptation to close them. This is all TradeSations’ fault since it has green bars all over the place to show your profits in each position. I just can NOT resist it. Plus it is a year end. So I will just use that as an excuse to break my rules. RUELS are made to be broken. Sorry. I was just kidding.
I am very happy today It is not just because I made 6466 this month. It is because that my system might stand a chance to survive. If it does survice, my trading life will be much easier than it is now. I will write a different post to summarize the performance of Dec. 08.
